Jesperson House

Chilliwack BC -

This home was constructed for the Jespersons, who moved from California to the Chilliwack area in 1884. Built in 1912 and originally resting on 240 acres of land, it was the site of popular social gatherings for half a century and it remains the largest concrete block house in the area.

J.H. Ashwell House

Chilliwack BC -

Built in 1891-1892 for J.H. Ashwell, Sardis postmaster and later mayor of the City, it was the first architect-designed house to be built in the district.
