Salish Park

Located at the corner of Young Street and Cheam Avenue in the heart of downtown Chilliwack, Salish Park features a beautiful pond stocked with fish and large turtles.

The Public Library and Rhombus Hotel & Resort surround the park, along with Tennis and Basketball Courts. The Totem Pole situated in the park was carved by Stan Green of the Sto:Lo Nation and was raised in the traditional Native way, with ropes and pulleys.

Sardis Sportsfield

4.05 hectares located at Britton & Vedder, Sardis Sportsfield is one of the many joint ventures with Chilliwack School District No. 33 and the City of Chilliwack.

This facility has 6 pinto diamonds, 2 mosquito diamonds, 1 bantam diamond and 2 junior softball diamonds as well as 1 full-size soccer field and 2 mini soccer fields. Sardis Park

This park features 5 hectares of pond and play area. The trail that winds around the park gives a wonderful view and insight into the different species of wild fowl that make this their home. The Mute Swans live in the park year round. These are different from the indigenous Trumpeter Swans, in that they were imported to our country many years ago, and have made Canada their permanent home. The park is also a winter sanctuary for many species of wild fowl that do not stay for the summer. ...
