Located on the corner of Williams Road and Hope River Road, Gwynne Vaughan Park consists of six acres of prime land and a heritage home willed to the City of Chilliwack and administered by the Gwynne Vaughan Society. The Gwynne Vaughan Park Board and members of the Society, along with the City of Chilliwack, Parks, Recreation and Culture Department, develops and maintains the beautiful gardens and trees through a coordinated effort of cleaning, weeding, pruning and planning. The heritage house has also been restored and maintained by this unique volunteer organization through donations and funds raised in their annual Garden Party and Plant Sale held in the park on the first Saturday in June.
