Take the Chiliwack exit off Hwy. 1, and head south. Drive through Chiliwack and Sardis, until you get to a T intersection before a steel bridge. Turn left and head up the Valley. Drive for approx. 26 km until you pass the Ford Mtn. Correction center. Keep on the road until you cross the bridge, then turn left onto the gravel road. Follow the road until you cross a log bridge and then turn left again. Continue until you get to a gravel pit and another intersection. You can park at the pit, but beware some riders use the pit for hill climbs so your vehicle could get roosted by rocks or bike parts. There is more parking down the road to the left of the pits. There are a number of old roads (and some motorbike trails) that can be ridden in this area.  However, the Cheam Peak Area is a hiking trail and is not open to ATV’s, no matter how tracked out it looks; the fragile alpine of the Spoon Valley has been heavily damaged in the last few years.
