This multi-award-winning masterpiece of musical theatre centers around Tevye, who attempts to maintain the traditions in his life, including his strong Jewish faith, as a changing world encroaches on his village. The problems start when the oldest three daughters begin to move away from the religious and family traditions, creating struggles for Tevye between his love for his family and his commitment to his traditions.
