 MISSION
STATEMENT:
To strengthen the local tourism industry through
quality promotions, partnerships, excellent visitor services and creative
programs that develop Chilliwack as an exciting and diverse tourism destination.
About Us
Tourism Chilliwack was formed in late1998 as a subsidiary organization of
the Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation (CEPCO). Tourism Chilliwack
was created in recognition of the importance of the tourism industry for
the economy of Chilliwack and the surrounding area, and is led by a volunteer
Board of Directors comprised of 20 tourism industry stakeholders and community
leaders who help guide the policy directions of the organization. The mandate
of Tourism Chilliwack is to develop and promote the tourism industry.
Visitor Information Centre
Tourism Chilliwack also operates and manages the visitor services for our
community. The Tourism Chilliwack Visitor Info Centre on Luckakuck Way (pictured
above) is open year-round.

7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (including holidays)
September 5 to September 23
Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
September 24 to October 31
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Economic Development
 Working
closely with CHILLIWACK ECONOMIC PARTNERS CORPORATION, Tourism Chilliwack
also provides economic development programs and services aimed at growing
the tourism industry. We support existing tourism sector employers who wish
to grow their existing services and facilities, and we work to grow the
industry in a broader scope by attracting new tourism related businesses.

Membership Information
A tourism Chilliwack membership is an investment in the local tourism industry.
The membership program helps support the many activities and marketing initiatives
undertaken by Tourism Chilliwack throughout the year to promote Chilliwack
and the surrounding area. It is the partnerships of local businesses and
Tourism Chilliwack that help our community grow as a tourism destination.

displaying your brochure at the Tourism Chilliwack Visitor Info Centre.
The Chilliwack location is ranked one of the top ten busiest Info Centres
in BC. Other benefits include listings on the Tourism Chilliwack web site,
and in the Chilliwack Travel and Adventure Guide. Members also save on advertising
opportunities offered by Tourism Chilliwack throughout the year.
The membership rates vary depending on the type of business and number of
